Running a startup is hard, and can often feel quite lonely, so it's important to be around other founders so you can relate to the day-to-day struggles and victories. If you live in a small town like me, then you probably don't have a very large community of startup founders to connect with. What I've found helps me is listening to podcasts for startup founders during my commutes. Being able to relate to struggles and hardships that other founders face motivates me to keep moving forward and building Quilly.

1) Startups for the Rest of Us

The podcast that helps developers, designers, and entrepreneurs be awesome at launching software products. Whether you've built your fifth product or you're thinking about your first. Startups for the Rest of Us focuses on bootstrapped businesses that are independently funded so it's definitely unique from YC's famous Startup School.

2) Startup School by Y Combinator

Learn how to start a startup with YC's free 10-week course. A series of lectures and conversations with YC Partners, startup founders, and experts on how to start a successful company.

3) Master of Scale with Reid Hoffman

Masters of Scale is an original podcast hosted by Reid Hoffman, co-founder of LinkedIn and investor at Greylock. In each episode, Reid shows how companies grow from zero to a gazillion, testing his theories with legendary leaders.
